01Aug1863, Arrow Into the Blue

HAWARDEN, Saturday, August 1st, 1863.
—I got an arrow into the blue at 60 yards, shooting with Uncle Henry's prize bow, weight 55. Could only manage abt 15 shots, and my arms ache a little.
